- Contrasting their Gerrault brothers, the trees in Wayverwood grow far taller, thinner and more sparse with their foliage and limbs. The roots of these trees remain close to the surface, causing uneven ground. Enveloped in these woods is Briar Lake, which is oddly devoid of wildlife. Despite their meager foliage, there always seems to be a haze in the woods unless the sun is directly overhead. Wayverwood Hollow caught fire once two centuries ago and some parts of the South Eastern border still show damage from the inferno. Wayverwoods do not grow as close to edges as the trees I the Gerrault Forest do, but they stretch the entire way of the Sound and all down the Riveyn coast to Tayganport. Their wood is much denser than the Gerrault forest, making them ideal for building and construction but not for weapons.
